Bottlehead Logo Badge
on:
December 20, 2010, 06:53:06 PM
Doc/Queen Eileen:
I received my Bottlehead Badge today and it makes all the difference on my Foreplay as it legitimizes it for a lack of a better choice of words.
Thanks a million!

Yes, they are way cool. I still have some of the original prototypes made when we were working to determine what looked best.

That's cool, where they look best is on the actual Bottlehead! For some reason it really made a difference not only in the appearance, psychologically. Understand, I'm not into Logo's, trends, fads or status symbols.

It all started with I wanted to get a Bottlehead badge for my gear. I got the logo file and had it acid etched on zinc plate. The first prototype arrived in May of 2004. The rest, as they say, is history.

Jim,
I too felt incomplete without the badges. I put mine on the op xfmr end bell for a different look.
I do like logos, not for status or any thing but in how they convey the company's message. To me the BH logo say's blue collar high end audio.

Hi Pat:
Precisely, the Bottlehead Logo is spot on and does convey the right attitude/message IMHO. I used the word legitimize and it is a good word, validate would also be apropos. In other words, my Foreplay was naked without the Logo Badge.
Happy Holidays to all from this Bottlehead newbie who already feels welcome!

I do think a well-made logo on a product makes a nice finishing touch. Gives it more of a sense of purpose, like it's a finished product, not something experimental
