So I wanted to try some tube rolling on my moreplay and ordered a set of "National Union NOS" tubes. I saw on the pic that they do not have the guide for positioning but thought I could still make them work would just need to be very careful with the positioning.

What I did not realize is that the pins a larger than the ones in the moreplay :( is it possible to use a adapter to use these ? I did not pay too much for them so was worth the gamble but was wondering if anyone have used similar tubes.

I am new to all this so might also be that the description on EBAY was completely off :P

The tube designator is marked on the glass envelope which is not legible in your photo. Those tubes most definitely are not 6V6 tubes !

6C6 = Poor mans WE310A. I use them to drive a 2A3 in SE operation, quite common circuit back in the day. Build one up I think you might be surprised.

That tube is a totally different design than a 6v6. It uses a top cap for one of the connections and it is a 6 pin layout. It will not work and I suggest you go back to the person that sold it as a 6v6 on ebay and ask for a refund.
