Hi All,

Very new to this hobby still.

I am having trouble deciding if this is the correct resistor because of the red body of the resistor. It should be a 220ohm 1/8W that has red red brown gold. Is this it?

Thanks!

The 220 ohm 1/8W resistors are carbon films and have a tan colored body.

What value do you get when you use your meter to read the resistance of those resistors?

Oop, I had a typo I am actually looking for the 220 1/4W. I think either I misplaced them or my kit is missing them. Is this something I can find at an electronic store near me or should I go thru Bottlehead?

The one in the pic is 100% 330ohm 2W

Just found them deep inside the pile of the shag carpet I am working on top of. Thanks for your help and I have also learned my lesson about tiny electronics and high-pile textiles.

Carpet Monster. Takes small objects and places them with all the missing socks.

Glad I caught it before it devoured it whole.
