Monamours are singing and from the first note on the bass definition and low level details are standing out and bringing smiles to my face (and i already thought the s.e.x. amp they are replacing sounded pretty great)

One question. I was trying to tune the hum pots but i seen to just get a reading of 0v ac no matter where i turn the knob.

Ive got the speakers pluged in and my multimeter is supposed to be sensitive down to .001v AC.

Do i need a better meter or is the hum just very low because i am using the 2ohm taps?

Also if it truly is a 0mv reading everywhere on the dial is it best to try to leave it roughly in the middle or is it better to leave it all the way up or down.

The hum is low due to the DC filament supply. There is some trace left, which might be heard on very sensitive speakers, so the balance control is retained. If you can't hear or measure any difference, then it really doesn't matter where you set it.
