Hi,

I got the basic Kaiju working. 2 slight issues remaining.

1. Even after the hum adjustment, I can still hear some slight hum. Is that normal?
2. Sometimes, when taking out the 300B and putting it back it results in popping sound / or no sound. I am thinking there is some loose connection inside - but the 300B socket always feels loose. I will open it up and take a look at the connections.

Thanks.

There is usually about 2mV of residual noise at the 8-ohm output with an AC-heated 300B. If you have very sensitive speakers, or if your house is very quiet, it is audible. That's why there is a DC filament upgrade kit. Most systems don't need the DC filament.
