Hi,

I am building a sex 3.0 and got to the glow test.
The A side tube doesn't glow, but the B side does. I switched tubes, and it's not the tube.

I find this odd as the power goes first to the A side. then to the B side.

I measured the following DC voltages:

A1-A12  8.56 volts

B1-B12 8.56 volts

Why wouldn't both  glow if they are both getting juice?

pictures are attached.

Ideas?

Thank you

The wiring at the A socket is incorrect.

Paul,

Thank you. I am such a dumb A**
I looked over the directions multiple times and couldn't see my error. Even after you mentioned it, it took a minute to see the issue.

My problem is that I can't count

5,6,7,8,9,10,12,11

I had numbered the A socket incorrectly and blindly followed the numbers instead of paying attention to the pin position. DUH!

I had some desoldering practice and now all is good.

Thank goodness for these boards.
