Large Heat Sink installation: P.37

On page 37 of the assembly manual it says: "The legs of the heat sink require some force to click into place". The legs of my heat sink seemed to fit perfectly allowing for a flush fit between the heat sink and PCB without any force, although there was no "click" of any kind.
 The regulator leads also seem to fit well without any force.

Am I OK to solder or should I try to use force to achieve a "click" ?

If the black heatsink body sits tightly against the PC board then all is well and you can continue on.  That note is intended to communicate that the heatsink can be pushed on pretty hard if necessary to get it to seat properly onto the PC board.
