Hi,

First of all I must admit I'm a novice to this but I tried building my first ever preamp and all went ok except channel output.
Seems my right channel plays absolutely louder than the left, the only way I hear the left channel is to turn the balance knob all the way left.
I have been checking now for a couple days with no luck, the problem still persist.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Tks.

Please post your voltage checks for both channels.

Hi,
Seems I'm registering @ 6v across each channel, but one socket looks a little eratic with the readings. It flickers up and down.

Hi Tom,

I reflow the solder on the volume and balance pot and it seem to fix the issue,  think I had cold solder.
Thanks for your help.

Sometimes this is a symptom of mixing up the balance pot and the volume pot.
