Hi,

The transformer on the A side of the board had a voltage of 257 VDC, while B side had 217 VDC. The manual says the range should be 210-230 VDC. Is this an issue or is it close enough?

Thanks in advance!

Can you post your Kreg voltages?

I would double check that the white wires leaving the D socket are going to the correct halves of that PC board.

They are in their correct areas.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

I would relflow the solder joints on that board and those terminal strips with your iron turned up as hot as it will go (you can skip the LEDs though, as they take nearly no heat to solder up properly).

Hi Paul,

I have reflowed everything and I am still getting 272vdc on the A tab. Any other ideas of what’s going on?

Thanks

I believe you could continue with the build and recheck that board once the front C4S board is installed and working.  The presence of the rest of the circuit will allow the Kreg voltage to rise and allow the regulator circuit to work properly.
