Well.... 90 degree mod on my stylus... oops

Well ... I just put a rekerd on and the cart went skating across the rekerd.  and... at some point I must have beat it with a stick as the stylus now has the 90 degree modification on it.

Stock Goldring 1012GX with D12GX stylus.  I can get a new stylus for mid $200's and up.

but as long as I'm spending my hard earned money... anyone want to voice in on recommending something under $500 (or real close to that)?  $300 would be better but I buy carts once every century and this century is young...and I'm not!

I'm not a particularly fussy listener but would like to squeeze the best I can out of a new cartridge.

Hana is on sale in some places right now.  I've heard good things about that cartridge.

Wow - I had no idea that the whole thing brand new is $500ish...

I think we'll stick with the Goldring and just pop in a new stylus.
