Hello all,

I have a Crack with Speedball installed that for various reasons has been mothballed for years!  Finally ready to get going with it again and I find that I have noise through one channel, which IIRC only commenced after I installed the Speedball all those years ago.  In the meantime, I have lost any instructions/CD's I had for both the Crack and the Speedball.  Anyone know if and where I can get access to the manuals so that I can troubleshoot my Crack?

Many thanks in advance.

You would want to contact replacementparts(at)bottlehead(dot)com and provide them with your order information and request new manual downloads.

Well, I got in touch with Bottlehead, and Eileen very kindly (and very quickly) sent me the Crack and Speedball instructions.  I printed them all out, read through it all, nervously grabbed my soldering kit and DVM (I am very much an amateur) only to discover it was just a duff tube!  Replaced that and all is well, happy days.
