Importance of resistor values
« on: November 19, 2023, 02:48:34 PM »
Hello,

I'm in the middle of enjoying my Stereomour II build, and I am taking it very, very slow.  I am measuring resistor values before installing, just as as an added sanity check.  The 270K ohm resistors included in my kit read 220K - 230K.  I double checked with another multimeter, thinking this might be a measurement problem, but the second multimeter reported the same.  Are these readings OK, or are the resistors mis-labelled?

Thank you from Bothell, WA!

Are you using clip leads, or your fingers? The human body is not an insulator ...  :^)

Thanks Paul, for fulfilling an item on my bucket list.  Now I know what it's like to be a conductor.

Feeling a bit silly now, but measuring without a human element is reporting spot-on resistance.
