Just finished my build today, minus the shunt regulator I have waiting.  All sounding good with a pair of old Minimus 7s I was willing to sacrifice.

My own mods were to:

1. add a switched IEC connector, which required removing a little more material from the original IEC cutout,
2. Repurpose the power switch at the front for a headphone switch.

I want to run some A/B tests with a couple of other kit projects I've done, and a decent pair of speakers to get a better feel about how it compares.  But my first 3 minute impression is leaving me very optimistic.  The Stereomour seems very quiet and dynamic.  Not even sure I would notice the difference with the shunt regulator.

That can be quite some effort to enlarge the IEC hole, but it turned out great!
