I think I've got it right... just wondering what the benefits might be of this upgrade to the headphone stands?

Come on, man. Build it stock first and get acclimated before you upgrade. ::)

Be sure to use a wood welder to put it together.

I believe they'd prefer you call it "earth"

Especially effective with music from the Appalachia region ...

I highly recommend supporting it with a QSE, which will quantum align its protons. There's currently a sale, 20% off so act quickly. Although Bybee doesn't promote it, theirs has a storage function good for a moderate listening session, but the effect wears off due to high solar neutrino flux, so make sure to return it to the QSE between sessions!

Oh Yay! The "new wooden" one's are finally out. Time to replace the half dozen acrylic one's I bought. I felt completely satisfied with the product description and would heed NONE of the warnings from naysayers (haters) of the interwebs ...

"...now internally charged with a non-current flowing lithium battery.." This is a truly innovative way to deploy a battery! By avoiding flowing any current from the battery, the state of charge is highly preserved, and the generation of undesirable stray electromagnetic fields are vastly reduced. Brilliant!

"The model 3000 is portable" - with a forklift maybe. Did you sell him any 810s?

Back when I first got interested in 810s around 2018, I was surprised to see that Shuguang was making new ones and they were only $60 each.  It appears as though that wood welder company instigated that production run around that time.  I wouldn't mind picking up a few from him down the road if he closes up shop.

I did notice that the product page for the headphone stand helpfully includes the suggested upgrade of a power cord kit at the discount price.  😁👍
