Can you spray lacquer over the varnish on the plate cokes?

I have not tried, but I would be hesistant to do so. You would probably be better off using a non-lacquer clear coat like Varathane over the transformer varnish.

I have sprayed black nitro lacquer over the transformer varnish and it looks OK, but the Rustoleum 2X black sure looks a lot better.
