Hello
I finished the BeePree with all the upgrades today.
Unfortunately there is a problem. The BeePree plays mono. At least that's what I hear, if I unplug the left or right output, it plays a little quieter on both channels.
To find the error, I left the red wire to the center pin of socket C and the white wire to the center pin
of socket D of the Noval socket open. I measure between red and white, i.e. left and right, depending on the position of the coarse 57.4 ohms to 6 kohm.
I think the error is somewhere in the TwoQuet.

( ) Measure the DC resistance between Q10 and
Terminal 1 of the coarse attenuator rotary switch. It
should read approximately 5KΩ. The resistance
between Q10 and Terminal 7 of the coarse attenuator
rotary switch should read approximately 5KΩ.
I wanted to repeat this point too but don't know how to get the 5k in the wired state.
Many thanks in advance
Felix

When you say you finished the BeePre with all the ugrades, do you mean you built it with the upgrades all at once? Or did you have it running OK in its basic form before installing the upgrades? Knowing that might help to identify where the problem lies.

Hello Doc B
The first is correct. I built everything at once.
I've now measured back and forth up to and including the TwoQuet and can't really find any faults. The only thing is, I have the BeePre1 special edition for comparison. And the channel separation is much better.
I don't want to describe the sound. Only the one plays over the speakers and at least separates left and right when listening, so it's fun.
Maybe I made a mistake. I don't know. The two plays very quietly. So far so good. Unfortunately, the "bing bong" effect is missing now.
Greetings
Felix

Unfortunately building everything at once make it more difficult for us to help figure out where the fault is.  I would suggest checking the wiring of the input selector switch first. For the preamp to be playing in mono only it's most likely that signal carrying wires have been swapped or shorted between channels somewhere.

Error found.
The error was in the wiring of the output board. It's a miracle that it played at all. Yes, maybe I didn't take enough breaks and wasn't concentrating.
Now the BeePree2 plays as I expected. Wonderful.
Best wishes
