The description page for the Bee2Quiet states, "the Bee2Quiet coarse and fine stereo switches replace the stock carbon pot volume and balance controls in the BeePre2." Does this mean that the upgrade will remove the ability to adjust balance, or is there still some way to achieve balance adjustments? I listen in an unconventional space that requires some balance adjustment. I can live without it, but would much prefer to have the ability to adjust balance.

Yes, the balance control comes out.  Technically there isn't any reason you can't retain the balance control in the circuit, but you'd have to find a different place to put it (drill another hole in the chassis or make a little plate to mount it to the wood base).

The balance control pot in the BeePre2 is there with the intention of allowing adjustment for small inconsistencies between channels in the tracking of the volume control pot. When the upgrade is installed the right and left channel levels track very well because of the precise resistor tolerance used.

You will be better off keeping the basic pot setup if you want to use the balance control to compensate for a room imbalance.

Thank you. I forgot that I can control balance through my streamer, so I'll just use that method instead and install the upgrade.
