Good evening, folks.

I have a line on a Schiit Gjallarhorn amp that I'm considering using in a desktop setup with a pair of DA Wave MT speakers (4-ohm, 86db sensitivity, currently being driven by a SEX). I've worked through the numbers, and I think that the Moreplay should theoretically  play well with the Gjallarhorn in this setup. The Gjallarhorn is a Class AB amp with an SE input impedance of 20K ohms according to Schiit. I'm prepared to roll the dice and give this combination a shot, but am hoping for a gut-check from this group before I pull the trigger. Please let me know if anyone sees a compatibility issue that I might be missing. (If so, I might just finally build a Class A Pass amp for my desktop setup!)

Thanks much!

It's a little bit on the low side in terms of input impedance, but not too far off.

Just to follow up for anyone interested: I finished the Moreplay build this weekend and, after realizing that I FUBARed two of the output jacks by over-soldering and shorting them, and then replacing with some spares (don't drink and drive, folks, no matter how cocky you are feeling down the stretch), I have a lovely preamp that plays very well with the Gjallarhorn. I'm especially liking this combo into a pair of Overnight Sensations in my desktop setup. Low-volume near-field is just gorgeous (I don't need no stinking Alps pot). I'm planning to hook it up to my Heresys and DA Waves tomorrow after the kids go to school and put it through its paces. Thanks to Paul, Paul, and Doc for another excellent piece of kit. I'm running it with some Sylvania 6v6gty I copped from my Princeton Reverb but honestly, I'm not certain they sound so different than the stock Russian tubes. Nicely done, gentlemen. Thank you for sharing.
