One of my pals that I see at the Monterey Jazz Festival every year gave me a heads up on this HBO series last year. It's about the lives of folks living in post Katrina NOLA. It really has tons of great music and cameos from the likes of Dr. John, Trombone Shorty etc. (way too many to list).
Unfortunately, I couldn't find it on NetFlix, Hulu or any of the other usual sources at the time.
Well, it's just about time for the second season of Treme' so HBO has all of season one available "On Demand" in HD.
If you've never been to New Orleans, this is about as close as it gets (without the humidity or bugs).

Up around these parts, hbo's been showing reruns of treme on a regular basis. Lets me get reacquainted with a place called oz. Watching Machiavelli come to life is awesome. Thanks for listening.
