Hello out there. I was wondering if it would be advisable to upgrade the 3k Ohm 10w resistors in the output stage with 3k Ohm 12w resistors (mills-1% tolorance). I've upgraded everything else!

PS- I have a speedball comming and am wondering if that will replace these as well as the smaller output resistors?

Cheers!

Yes, the speedball will replace these resistors.  In general though, I prefer the Mills resistors in the cathode circuit over the sandcast ones -- they just sound smoother and more resolving tome.

And also yes, the plate load resistors for the driver tube will be replaced by the speedball too.
