I haven't done a Bottlehead kit for a while, but need an active pre-amp between my MusicStreamer II+ and Type 45 power amp en route to Audio Note AX Two Signature speakers in my desktop system. The passive vol. pot just wasn't cutting it. I suspect it will see service with my Otari 5050 & EROS, too. Can't wait! (Well, I can, and will, but, awww, ya know what I mean!)

Rechargeable 9V batteries and charger showed up today and made me realize I have absolutely no idea when the next batch of Quickies will be ready to ship. Any idea, Doc?

We were shorthanded with Eileen out last week and fell off the pace a bit. Deep in the midst of our second job today - shipping tapes. My hunch is that we will be able to pack and ship Quickies later this week.

I wasn't feeling impatient or anything, just realized I had no idea whether shipping was likely to be just around the corner or if you had just shipped the last batch and it would be a while. Heard from the Queen yesterday and got UPS confirmation today. The magic box will be here next Thursday.

I'm clearing my calendar for Friday - buildin' 'n chargin' up the batt'ries day! Wonder what color it'll be  . . .    ;-D
