Hey all, I'll be changing the interstage cap in a SEX amp to 600pF, for a 1065hz filter with the 249K grid bias there, but the caps I bought are silver mica and I don't know how they connect. Any help greatly appreciated! --keto

Looks like the contacts are the tab (with the hole in it) and the crimped "C" shaped shell.  Check across these connections with a Ohmmeter and you should get an "open" reading.  The capacitance setting on my VOM isn't sensitive enough for measuring capacitance this small so unless you have a dedicated capacitance meter you may not be able to verify it that way.

Thanks a lot. Yep, that's how they work. It turns out I ordered the wrong part. I think I'll go with these... http://mx.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Cornell-Dubilier/CD19FD621FO3F/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMtLiKaZgV7flbpGgzyLx4f%2ftjAkwQg97lE%3d

Those would be much easier to install.  What kind are those you pictured???  Very odd looking.  Military?

They're "silver mica" types, which I must have selected (without looking at the picture!) because they are +/- 1%
