Most of the dealers will sell tubes like this on eBay.  Look for tubes with matched constructions and good test results.  Some money can be saved by getting two tubes that are an internal match but branded differently.

Also, check the sellers feedback and other items to get a feel for who you're buying from.

For most of the online vendors, buying two 45's means you might just get a random pair.  For the other dealers, you'll end up paying something like $300 a pair, I see some nice looking pairs on eBay from good sellers for under $100.

On the other end, you could get a new set of TJ's as well.

... Of course the parafeed cap value will be changed to a 10uf 450VDC at that time....
I still don't recommend less than 600 volts rating for the parafeed cap.

I got that value from an old bottlehead iron upgrade parts list. Thanks for letting me know. 600 volts or higher is what I'll get.

I will throw in two guys who have supplied top notch NOS tubes:

Tube World:  https://www.tubeworld.com/index_high.htm

Upscale Audio:  http://www.upscaleaudio.com/

These are not low priced suppliers but instead deliver a quality product.  I would call them and discuss what you want to hear.

A lot of the old console tube radios use 45s for their amplifiers. I scavenged most of my 45s from GE and Zenith floor standers. And you can find them on craigslist for $30-40.
