Hey guys,
was wondering what the general opinion is about Psvane tubes? also has anyone tried the MKII version yet? I have ordered a Psvane MKII 12at7-T for the Stereomour and I will post the impressions here soon. I am also considering them for my Extended Foreplay III so any Impression would help!
thanks,

well,  ordered 4 12au7-t psavne tubes.  3 for my foreplay3 and one for my decware cd player.  used 'em  for a few months.  very convinced they were the bee's knees.  then went to eh 12au7 (no kidding, eh) and one pld mullard in the center position on my fp3.  very much surprised at the improvement.  i probably will only use the psavne tubes for spares from now on.  don

The Psvane 12AT7 is about $35, a Mullard 12AT7 is about $10, a Telefunken is around $25.

I don't think I'd ever be in the market for a Chinese 12AT7 with that price lineup...

hmm... If I could find a telefunken for $25 id buy it... usually I see NOS CV Mullards for around $30 and telefunkens are usually so expensive, where do you find them at that price? I may have to go buy some.
thanks,

Just buy used singles on eBay.

There's nothing wrong with used small signal triodes, some of them have many, many tens of thousands of hours of useful life.

The boxes and packaging aren't worth that much...
