That was a tough one. Busted a table while trying to begin a very involved redo of our web site. But I think we are back in gear now.

Been dry for two days. The issue is not operator error (for once), but rather too many email accounts, and some piling up with ungodly amounts of spam. Trying to clean that off the server tends to crash it, and the forum DBs are what usually take a hit. Today I went in to eliminate the worst offenders and readjust my email flow so that I can keep up on the cool new iPad Eileen bought me for Xmas. The old Acer One netbook will probably be heading with one of us to the range soon, to be put out of its misery. It worked pretty good for about a year, then just started going slower, and slower, and slower...never could play a HD video either. The iPad makes it look like an Osborne One.

wow,.. Osbourne computers!
There's a stab from the past.
I can remember a buddy that set one up to be used in his Porsche 914-6. Why,.. I can't really say but it was a monster to get in the car and lock it into the swivel he made for the riders seat.
Unfortunately, you had to open the door to turn it more than 90 degrees!

My ex was issued one when they first came out, for a new way to work called "telecommuting". Had the goofy old 300 baud modem that a WE push button phone handset plugged into. Looked like she was going to a sewing class when she lugged it around. For years afterward I thought "telecommuting" meant having an affair over at the apartment of the guy you work with at the phone company.
