Randy,

I admire, and applaud your working through all of this.  It is too long since school and too many hazy nights for me to do more here than use Ohm's Law.  But I do that very well.  I also have a grasp on impedance vs. resistance, as complex as it can be.

Open circuit voltage and DC resistance is what we need to know to use the transformer and most manufactures don't make that info easily available.
