Hi guys,

I need a help on my crack in relation to the resistance check.
I follow the instruction and get most of the resistanace right except terminal 6 and terminal 10. I got 1.24K ohms for both measurements instead of 2.4K ohms.

Also on terminal 13, it didn't climb slowly towards 270k instead I got around 18M ohms and keeps going down.

For all the 0 ohms, I got around 2.1-2.4 ohms. I assume this is right just small resistance with cable and everything.

I wonder where I might get it wrong.

These deviations are likely from the capacitors present on the terminals you're measuring.  Just to be sure, double check that the 2.49K resistors are well connected on the headphone jack (which they must be, since you do get a solid reading), and that the 270K/1W carbon film resistor across the last power supply cap is in place.

If these look good, go ahead and move onto voltages.

Paul,

Thanks a lot for your assurance, I went ahead and did all the voltage check and find all the result nearly the same as per manual.
I am running it at the moment and I am very happy with the result, probably will leave it for 2 weeks before I assembled my speedball.
Time for some hunting for extra tubes, might go with Tungsram E80cc and 5080 combination  ;) ;)

This forum is surely very helpful and responsive.
