Some help please before I buy

I am thinking of replacing my deHavilland UV3 Preamp, and I am asking an impossible question: do you think I will run into problems with the following system.
CD Player is an Audio Note (UK) NOS CD4.1x; output impedance is around 250 Ohms from 40 - 20K Hz.  2.5V out
The amps are Fi 2A3/45 monos; input impedance is 470K Ohms.  I'm not sure of the output impedance or the voltage. (I use AVVT meshplates for the 2A/3s and my 45 tubes are EML solid plates.
The speakers are from Tonian labs with Fostex FE207E drivers, Fountek ribbon tweeters and a cross-over at 10K!  They are 97dB sensitive.

The system in my small room (4Mx3M) sounds very good to me.  (The deHavilland has a gain of 10dB, an input impedance of 80K Ohms and output impedance is 1K Ohms at 30V).  It plays loud, has good dynamics, and a nice soundstage.  I hear the very faintest hum from the speakers when I turn the volume knob to max. No audible at all in the listening range (but I AM slightly deaf).

I don't see any glaring problems, do you?

I really should get one Fi's preamps, but the wait time is over 2 years....and I'm 70.

I have used 94dBW speakers on 2A3 tubes in a 23' X 13' room and the volume was more than enough.  I'm 63.  It sounds to me like you should have no problem.

Looking at the numbers, it should be fine. The gain of the BeePre is a bit less than your current preamp (8.3dB vs. 10dB), but between the hefty output of your source and efficient speakers, I doubt you're using all your gain. Impedance matching looks good all around. So to answer your question, there isn't a technical reason for it to not work in your system. As for synergy and so forth, you'll just have to try it and see, but it is a known fact that the piece of gear you built sounds better than the piece of gear you bought...
