I'm contemplating building a system for vinyl.  I am using a reciever/turntable combination that I got when I graduated from high school along with an ST-70 that belonged to my wife's father.  It sounds OK with a CD or ipod, but I think there's lots of room for improvement with the turntable.  I'm budget constrained currently and thinking reduction/quickie.   Has anyone used a similar set up, or should I save up for the beepre?

Reduction and Quickie should be a great match to a Stereo 70. If the output level of the cartridge you choose is relatively high (5mV) then Reduction and Submissive might work well to if it fits in the allotted budget.

Doc, will the C4S upgrade be available when the Reduction is released? That extra 3 to4 dB made a big difference for me when I was playing around with passive pre's.
