My current living situation pushed me into using a headphone setup. I have a Crack w/Speedball a 5998 and a Clear Top, Sennheiser HD-600s, and a HRT MSII+ DAC. It's far and away the best music system I've ever owned. I'm about to move and the new place will have room for me to make some noise. I'm looking at the S.E.X. with the C4S upgrade and probably the speaker project linked from the S.E.X. page based on the FE166E drivers.
My question is that, if I'm used to the high standards of the Crack with upgrades via the HD-600s, will the S.E.X. perform well enough to keep me happy (or do I have to step up to the big dollar amps)?
