Would the Magnequest BH5 and BH7 Paramount iron work in a Paraglow? If so would it be an improvement?

TIA

The EXO-03 that is already in Paraglow has more inductance and is better suited to the Paraglow operating conditions.

The BH-5 output transformer would likely (IMHO) be a slight improvement over the stock EXO-35; however is it larger and might be difficult to fit.

Thanks Paul,
Since this is going to be my first scratch built amp and I plan on using a 8x12 top plate, fitting the BH-5 in would be no problem.
I do however, have a question (and I spelled it right this time) about the EXO-03.  On the magnequest site
they list a EX0-003. Is that a misprint or is it a different choke?

Thanks again,
N.N.

They are the same thing. We were all a little erratic in usage back in the day ...

The worst one is the EXO-001, same as what we sometimes called the EXO-01 but different from the EXO-010. Now THAT's confusing!

Thanks for clearing that up for me Paul.

Back in the days of the Paraglow, I was a brand newbie, having built my first foreplay 2,  I wanted the Paraglow in the worst sort of way. Then, Doc retired it. I freaked and bought the manual from Doc and started buying parts. So the addition of this BH-5 and EXO-03 will bring me that much closer to my goal.
Like I said I was a brand newbie. Now, I know that If Doc retires something, something better is coming.

Once again, thank you.
