Well, in spite of the warning in the instructions, my power switch got too hot during soldering and I melted the insides. Now the rocker just flaps around like a dead chicken...lol.
So I went to an electronics store to buy another switch. All they had that was the same size was a lighted rocker switch, which has three prongs. The salesman told me that the third prong is just for the light, and if I just use two prongs, it will be the same. I figured he was right and bought it.
Now that I'm home and trying to use it, it isn't working. Thinking back to my long-since used electrical knowledge, I believe the 3-prong switch is not so simple, requiring parallel wiring and more connections.. Anyways, I'm hoping someone can give me some advice. I guess I should just get a 2-prong switch and be done with it, huh?
