As some of you know I attended Cruise to the Edge 2013 in April of this year. It was one of the coolest experiences I've had in my life. I saw more great live concerts in 5 days than I did in the previous 5 years. Since I was on the inaugural cruise I was eligible for the "priority booking" this year. So I made my reservation for 2014. Now the hard part is waiting. If you are into prog rock this is the gig for you.

Here's a tip. General Cruise to the Edge Reservations will begin at 2 pm Eastern on Thursday, August 29, 2013. If you are interested don

Oh, I'm giving it a lot of serious contemplation. It's going to take a lot of work to get to the point where I can travel again with enough strength and stamina, and I'll have to be extra careful to not catch any bugs during that time of year which is always the hardest time for me to avoid getting something. In reality the odds are pretty heavily against, but I'm going to give it my best -- this sounds like something I really would love to do.

I definitely won't be an early bird though.

Wow, that was quick. A friend called me up and informed me that two categories of cabins are sold out already. General booking only opened up on Thursday. [shock]

If there are any Bottleheads going on CTTE we should get together for coffee or something stronger.

Send me a PM and I'll give you my cell phone number. Be advised that after the ship leaves port cell coverage drops off pretty quick.

That sounds like fun too. Will your route be snow free? You guys had a rough winter this year.
