Hi

I ordered a Crack with SpeedBall upgrade on 1st September, but apart from an automatic acknowledgement, I have had no replies to 2 emails asking when my stuff will be shipped.

Is there a problem?

PJG,

The Official Bottleheads are good about returning emails, but the best way to get in touch is to call them.  Then there is a problem that the spam filter sometimes grabs a good email.  I have read that this has happened before.

Bottlehead batches the kit assembly.  As they get enough orders for a batch, the parts are collected and then they kits are "assembled" or bags put in a box and shipped.  So it often depends where in this cycle you order.  Sometimes a critical part can be delayed from a supplier, for instance the top plate or the transformer.

On the product page, two paragraphs above where you ordered they estimate a 3-4 week backlog.  I have no idea if that has been updated recently.

Been wondering that also. As I'm still waiting for an email with invoice since more than a week ago, emailed Eileen twice, also no reply.

Our spam filters do indeed grab an inordinate amount of e-mail, and Eileen will be in an out of the office an unusually high amount of time this month, so e-mail responses may take a little longer.

For up-to-date shipping status, you can check our delivery status page. This is updated several times a week.

For a Crack ordered on the 1st, we are awaiting a large batch of wood base pieces for this order, as well as a few other small odds and ends.

Could it be that you sold a gaggle of these on Mass Drop?    Seem to remember a healthy amount showed sold.   That would make this even more understandable.

Now, if you could push my BeePre to the head of the line...... ::)

Project RPM 1.3, Speed box, Acrylic Platter, Sound Smith upgraded Sumiko EVOIII  Eros, Beepre, Emotive XPA-2, Cambridge Azur 640C, Magneplanar 3.7i's, Dayton Audio Sub.

Thanks for the information.  It looks like a few more weeks before shipment, then another 3 or so weeks for post and customs into Italy.  I guess I will have to find a temporary fix as it were.
