I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for a good resource to understand the different components and their various uses in kits like the BH ones.

I understand very basic concepts of resistance, current and voltage as well as the basic purposes for resistors capacitors and diodes (I think), but I'd like to better understand what's happening as the wizards at BH are stringing these pieces together to create such brilliant devices.

Most importantly, I'm looking for layman's explanations while I increase my understanding.

Go to Pete Millet's site. It's full of great material, from basic stuff to very high level stuff.

Thanks Docc & Natural Sound. I checked out Pete Millet's self-named site and found interesting plans and schematics, but no teaching. Natural Sounds, you may have pointed me to the info Doc originally intended so a combined thank you to you both!

Thanks Doc. I saw that, but didn't realize it was the same info you were referring to.
