I've coveted the S.E.X. amp since the original version way back when.  This year, my wonderful wife surprised me with an order during the awesome black friday sale for my Christmas gift.  I want to order a Gold Point attenuator to go with the build, and I really only want to solder this once, so I'm just confirming that the value is 100K.  I've searched, and that's what everything I've read seems to indicate, but I want to make 100% absolutely certain.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks very much for the quick response!

It will be a good Christmas indeed.  Doc and team were MUCH faster getting the amp packed and shipped than I could have anticipated and it will arrive on the 16th.  I'm not allowed to have it then, and I will be away from the bench around the holiday, so it may be a while before I can put her together!

I plan on staining the base a black/ebony to match the Klipsch speakers that she'll be driving - I hope I can at least do that part before we leave!

The pot is 100k Ohms.  I know that a 50k Ohm will do just as well and might be a tiny bit quieter.

I have seen posts that you can go as low as 20k Ohms.  But I'm not sure.
