I was reading about the TU-05 portable tube amp which looked interesting.

I am guessing the Quickies sensitivity to microphonics would rule out its use for this. I was just wondered if anyone with a quickie converted to use as a headphone amp has got round the microphonics and tried it?

Enjoying a Quickie Alfresco sounds tempting.

The microphonics become more tolerable when you step down the voltage output.  The real issue is that the power output is very limited when you modify the Quickie to drive headphones, and this is also reflected in the product link you posted.
