hey everyone i built my crack yesterday and everything is working great! however i also have the speedball upgrade and as i was about to start the installation and went through the checklist i noticed i am missing 1 237 ohm resistor for the speedball, is there anyway i can just go to radioshack and pick up two 220 ohm resistor instead, rather then wait for replacements?

I would wait on the 237 Ohm replacement resistor.

I just noticed my kit is missing the 270k Ohm resistors. What kind of resistors come with the kit? In other words, what specs do I need to look for? We have 1 or 2 electronics stores on the island. I think they have 1% metal film resistors but idk what brand or anything. Is that the right kind of resistor?

That particular resistor is a 270K 1W carbon film resistor.

You could use a 100K 2W, 150K 1W, 220K 1W, 270K 1/2W, or 300K 1/2W.  It could be metal film, carbon film, metal oxide, etc.  The actual composition of that resistor isn't critical.
