I stumbled across yet another amazing site.
The Film-Tech site has a number of interesting items available for either download or viewing online. I've only just scratched the surface but regarding audio, there's a poor quality Western Electric manual for the 40 series theater amps along with manuals for just about anything you could possibly need to start your own vintage movie or drive in theater (right down to the popcorn popper).
There's a menu on the left and when you have a little time on your hands, the "Videos" section has some very cool trailers from as early as the 50's (by the looks of the cars and hairdos). I particularly like the "Castleberry's BarB-Q" trailer. There's also a few of burning nitrite film (one underwater) which give the fire at Universal Studios a whole new meaning.
The Dolby sound format trailers would make a dandy thing to add to any home video too.
