Maybe a stupid question: IIRC one should never use a tube amp without any load, speakers etc., connected. Now, I am using a AKG 271 MK II cans , which is one of their studio versions. They disconnect, when one takes them off. Will I "fry" my amp if I take the headphones off and forget to turn the amp off?

Thanks for your advice.

Yes, the SEX has no feedback.  Only tube amps with feedback need to have a load on them.  I unplug my speakers to swap absolute phase all the time.  I have never had a problem.

Don't do this with a ST-70 though.
