Yes, I think that you are correct. Seemed to be little nicks whether I used a stripper (gauge wasn't quite right) or knife.
Voltages all fine, LEDs lit, so I plugged it into the system. Sounds great! Too late for an extended session but first thing I noticed was the bass extension. I am using a Denon DL110 cart so the extra gain is nice too. No buzz, hum or anything I and I am in a high RFI environment. Looking forward to a LOOONG session to put it through its paces.
I can't say enough about how clear the instructions are and the build is so intuitive. I cannot imagine how difficult it is to design the circuit, get it optimized AND THEN figure out stepwise how to explain how to build it up for non-mechanicals like me!
Thanks for another great kit. Will think about retiring my modded Foreplay 2 for a BeePre soon.
