My experience is that Bluetooth receivers offer convenience but often lack in fidelity. That said, the quality of sound seems to be all over the place depending on the manufacturer. I also found that you need to spend a little more to get decent performance. As I recall the $35 to $50 range seemed to be the sweet spot. I liked the Miccus receiver best at the time when I was doing comparisons. Mind you that was over a year ago. Ultimately I bought a decent interconnect cable and gave up on the Bluetooth idea. YMMV.
