John McClure produced many of the great classical recordings of the 20th century, including quite a large number of my personal favorites. Rest in peace.

He was a definite master of the recording arts. In this age of overly processed pop pablum, he will be sorely missed.  I have and enjoy many of his recordings. Sadly, those of us that appreciate classical music are also aging out of the mix.

Cheers,
