Would there be any issue with using a motorized Blue Alps volume pot with all electronics housed separately including power supply.
If so would best be dual log 20K or 50K.

Dual log 50K would be the better choice.

I haven't used that control, so I don't know about degradation.
You will want to leave off the balance pot with this configuration.
