Setting plate voltage - do you need to reset it after replacing tubes

Hi there,
First of all happy new year. All the best for 2015!
I am going to replace the tubes in my Paramount and just have a question regarding the plate voltage.
Do you need to adjust this if you just swap the 300B? My thinking is no.
Do you need to adjust this if you swap the 5670 tube? My thinking is yes.
Also, does anyone have any comments on Pearl CryoValves? I was thinking of picking up a couple from Partsconnexion.
Thanks for your help!
Dave

Hello Dave,
In the 300B amp, the 5670 plate voltage isn't as critical as in the 2A3 circuit. Having said that, since you can perform the adjustment, I would recommend doing so when you swap out driver tubes.
