Hi all,
When you start swapping caps, which ones should I start with and how close do I have to match the specs of the stock cap? I went looking through pcx and my head started swimming. Thanks a bunch

Are you speaking of coupling caps or power supply caps?  I agree on the variety, my head swims every time I look for coupling caps there.

It turned out I was confused by the concept of bypassing caps. I'll do some poking around and see what I find. Thanks, especially for that list.

I did find a cap comparo out there http://www.ecp.cc/cap-notes.htm. He's got more links to other comparos. Sorry if this info has been repeated. I found some 150uf / 350v blackgates at parts connexion and I was wondering if those can be swapped in for the panasonics in the power supplies? Btw, I've got crack (speedball on pre-order), extended FPiii, eros and paramount 300b's.
