I figured since Doc posted, I'd show off my new ride as well.

2002, 1150cc, ABS, heated grips, adjustable windshield, full bags, 60K kilometers. I'm picking it up in Victoria on Saturday.

I had one exactly like this (same color even) for 6 years and got rear-ended 3 years ago on the freeway and the bike was written off. I've decided I'm not ready to stop riding, but my wife won't be riding with me anymore (she was my passenger in the accident).

Beautiful! Forecast for Saturday looks pretty good. Ought to be a great day to pick it up. Rode to work yesterday on the CBR, and it was lovely. Took some back roads home to extend the dawdle.

That's a good choice for a bike, especially in the PNW, where some rain protection comes in handy.
