Let us know what you think of the mullards. The Q is especially responsive to change, as there isn't much there in the first place. That could be part of the secret to it's success.

Close to 20hrs. on the Mullards, integrated with the Stereomour which has JJ 2a3's & a Telefunkin. The listening experience is moving to say the least. We do vinyl 99.5% of the time. If I could stop spending rat hole $$$ on motorcycles & vinyl I would give a Submissive a go.

The software is more important.  I mean, it is what we listen to, not through.

But stash away something for the Submissive every time you buy another LP.

Nice inspection window :)    How did you manage that, missed gear or?

Haven't figured that out yet. Nothing obvious. Could be to many miles on the crank. Piston's had less than 300 miles and there's no cracks in the skirt but the small end's bearing is quite rough. Could be the aftermath of rod chard's getting caught up in there. They should last 1500 miles before going out of tolerance and they should not snap a rod. This unit had close to 1000 track day miles on it. I probably should keep the rev's below 10,500.  Stocker's porting only allow them to spin to 8000. This one's not stock.

These Mullard's sound fantastic but boy oh boy, touch the Quickie and it sound like someone's ringing the doorbell. Haven't heard this yet and I've used quite a few different tubes in the Quickie. Guess it's time to wrap em' in sticky foil and put a copper collar on them.
