Helps with resistance checks [resolved]

 I finished my crack today! What fun. Thank you for producing something so awesome, I've not even heard it yet! The instructions are brilliant. doing the resistance checks I found one was not quite right. Using 12 as a ground I got 1.177k ohms at 7 instead of 2.9k ohms. Similarly with B3. The other side reads fine. Also at 13 it's been dropping slowly from 5k ohms, instead of climbing to 270k ohms as you suggest. Everything else checks out. So close! Any ideas? Thanks again , Jeff

If you have 1.7K at 7 and 3K at 9, that may suggest that there is a problem with the amplifier. Check the wiring leaving terminal 6, I suspect that the red wire that's supposed to leave terminal 6 and go to the headphone jack is instead connected to terminal 7.

Hello, thanks for the reply. I've checked what you suggested but not so. As far as I can see everything is where it should be. To compound things I found a note somewhere about attaching the two unused lugs on the headphone jack to the black wire at the bottom. Hoping this would fix it it's made it worse! My readings are now as follows:

Before I added the extra connections to the headphone jack I got pretty much correct readings except for terminal 7 and b3 which still read the same now.  Thanks again for your help!

I'd go ahead and test fire.  If you have an unusual voltage at 7 or 9, then we will need to have a closer look at what may be miswired.

Hi again, I fired it up and checked the voltages and all were good. So now I'm listening to some hi res James Blake through my hd 650s and my face hurts from grinning so much! It sounds effing awesome, can't beleive it! Thank you again . I'm extremely happy
