Got my kit Tuesday and promised myself I will take my time and enjoy the build. (I know I will enjoy the completed amp for a long time) I like the inclusion of the voltage and secondary tests early in the process, lets one confirm build and encourages solder joint review practices.
I noticed 2 little things so far in my 6/11/15 manual:
Last instructions on page 26 call for a 2 1/4" black wire from the N on the inlet to 47L, I needed at least 3" just to reach, I used 3 1/2" for a couple of twists with the red wire.
The voltage check on page 27 says to check on 49 and 50, SB 47 and 48.
I also noticed the large tube sockets are a VERY tight fit into the panel. A little filing and rubber mallet persuasion were required.

The build continues.
I noticed another little glitch in the manual: The 3rd step of instructions on page 34 instructs to "Attach and solder the other lead to 8L,..." I believe it should just be "Attach the other lead to 8L,..." as on page 36, steps 2 and 3 are to add wires to 8L and solder 8L in step 3.
At my current pace it'll take another week, but that's fine. My wife drove into the garage where I was happily soldering up a few more joints before dinner. As she got out of the car she said "Oh, aren't you in heaven."
She was right.

Thanks for posting the manual suggestions.  I'm hoping to start mine this weekend, so it's nice to have a few pointers.

If you look in my "a little help please" post Paul pointed out that the resistance on #45 can't be 0 Ohms.
For me it was easier to attach the heat sinks to the little board prior to wiring it in and attaching it to the standoffs. YMMV.
I still have a couple of Voltages to iron out, but I gotta say it looks pretty cool with all 4 bottles lined up on deck.
This is a preview picture from a few days ago.
